Unusual new occupiers flock to Uxbridge Business Park
19 February 2010
Uxbridge Business Park, which is owned, developed and managed by global property group Goodman, has welcomed some special new tenants. Wild blue tits and sparrows can now nest in the park’s horse chestnut trees as the park management team have installed specialist bird boxes to encourage wildlife to the area. The arrival of the bird boxes coincides with national bird week.
Set in 149 acres of open parkland, Uxbridge Business park offers a relaxing and picturesque environment for the many businesses based there, as well as providing a safe and tranquil home for the birds, which are native to the UK. The new arrivals encourage employees based at the park to explore their surroundings and get back to nature in their lunch hour.
